All of the mentors on MentorNet work in NHS organisations in the East of England, and have completed a mentoring skills workshop or are experienced mentors. They undertake mentoring as part of their role and may be available to mentor in a number of different locations e.g. at their work base or at a mentee's work base.
Once registered you can view a mentor's profile and apply to them for mentoring. For example, you may wish to consider a mentor from a different organisation to the one that you work in.
After submitting a request for mentoring, the mentor will contact you to have initial conversation to discuss your position and reason for seeking mentoring. If you then proceed to establish a mentoring arrangement, you agree the time and venue for mentoring sessions and contract with your mentor. Each mentor determines whether they are able to travel to meet with a mentee or whether they ask mentees to travel to their place of work.
When logged into MentorNet as a mentee you can search for a mentor by detailed criteria, view a mentor's full details and apply for mentoring.
